What Is Ketamine?
Who is Ketamine For?
Ketamine is an anesthetic used by physicians to treat chronic pain, PTSD, Major and Bipolar Depression, Generalized Anxiety, and OCD. It is used therapeutically in micro-doses to reconfigure the central nervous system around ingrained mental and physical pain pathways. The medication is infused into the vein in a safe, clinical environment under the direct supervision of a board certified physician. We monitor for effectiveness, adverse reactions, and dosage modulation during and after the procedure.
How do I know it's right for me?
Before we do any infusions, we have a professional medical doctor do a simple, quick, 30-minute evaluation to determine if Ketamine is right for you. This means we’re getting to know you, your ailments, and making sure we’d be the best fit for you.

At Elysian, you have a collective experience of 50 years of board-certified physician compliance, safety and efficency in our doctoral staff. We pride ourselves on having no lawsuits ever taken against any of our staff members. With physician supervision, you’ll always be safe at Elysian.
How will I know if it's working?
To really see if the infusion process is producing results, we like to wait 4-6 infusions to get a strong analysis. This usually happens over the course of 2,3 weeks. Improvements in sleep, mental health, and general improved senses of wellbeing are all signs that the Ketamine is having a real effect. We reccomend all patients start with a minimum of 4 visits, after which we sit down and have a discussion to figure out next steps.
How long does the infusion process take?
One infusion session is usually less than 45 minutes. We also provide an “after-room” in a very calm environment where you can relax and rejuvenate after your session is over.
